The Technotsav event, held in 2014, saw techies from across business lines showcase their best solutions for business and share the latest trends in technology. Exciting competitions and sessions by industry experts were organised.
As part of Confluence 2014, business lines across SG GSC locations worked together to showcase the core functional capabilities of the Group through functional exhibitions, an internal career fair, contests and expert talks on innovation.
SG GSC hosted Brainwaves, its first hackathon event, last year. The objective of the event was to have students from premier educational institutions propose innovative technological solutions ‘to build an office without boundaries for the digital bank of tomorrow’. A unique aspect of this event was that the students were guided and mentored by technical experts from SG GSC, as they brainstormed, researched, designed and coded through the 24-hour challenge. The event received an overwhelming response.
Our Business Analyst Forums are a platform for SG GSC’s functional consultant community to share ideas and discuss topics related to banking and industry trends of significance. Sessions by guest speakers are an integral part of these forums. Town Hall events are held regularly to keep our employees updated on key information on their business lines.
